A food delivery app with all three sides built.
Customers see the menu and the order. Behind it, a kitchen has to accept in seconds and a rider has to find the gate. We design and build the customer app, the kitchen screen, the rider app and the ops dashboard together, so one order moves cleanly through all of them.

Who it's for
If this sounds like you.
- Restaurant groups and cloud kitchens tired of paying aggregator commissions
- Founders launching delivery in one city or one cuisine first
- Regional food brands that want their own app and their own customer data
- Caterers and tiffin services moving from phone orders to an app
Every side of the product
4 apps, one system.
Most studios build the customer screen and stop. The other sides are where the business actually runs, so we build them together on one design system.
- 01
Customer app
Menus, a cart that handles half and full portions, live tracking and an honest bill. FullPlate adds a spice slider and a plate builder.
- 02
Kitchen screen
An order board from New to Picked up, with an accept timer, prep time, KOT printing and switches to mark items out of stock.
- 03
Rider app
Zone, pickups, drops and earnings in one place. The Bitevia rider app hands over at the counter and collects separate food and rider ratings.
- 04
Ops dashboard
Live orders, delayed kitchens, riders online and refunds, so your team sees a problem before the customer calls.
Features Indian customers expect
The must-haves, done properly.
Designed for the phones, networks, languages and payment habits your customers actually have.
- 01
UPI, cards and cash on delivery
UPI as the default, with COD and a rider confirmation step for cash, because many first orders are still paid in cash.
- 02
Phone number and OTP login
No passwords. A customer is in with their mobile number and a one-time code.
- 03
Landmark addresses
A pin on the map plus a landmark and floor field, so riders stop calling to ask for directions.
- 04
Pure-veg and Jain filters
A strict veg mode that hides non-veg kitchens and dishes, and Jain options on items that support them.
- 05
Transparent bill
Food, packing, delivery, platform fee and GST shown line by line. FullPlate's Open Bill shows who gets what.
- 06
Order updates on WhatsApp and SMS
Accepted, out for delivery and delivered, sent where your customers actually read messages.
- 07
Regional language menus
Dish names and the interface in Hindi or a regional language, with English as a fallback.
- 08
Peak-hour controls
Kitchen pause, longer prep times and a busy fee you can switch on for festival nights and cricket finals.

Cost and timeline
10–12 weeks for a first version.
Fixed quote within 48 hours of your brief: scope, timeline and price in writing before we start. These are what move the number.
- One restaurant or many: a marketplace needs onboarding, payouts and commission settings
- Whether you run your own riders or use a delivery partner
- Live map tracking versus status-only updates
- Number of languages in the customer and rider apps
- Integrations with your POS, printer or accounting software
Questions
About your food delivery app.
How much does a food delivery app cost to build in India?
It depends mostly on how many sides you need and whether you run a single kitchen or a marketplace. We give a fixed quote within 48 hours of your brief, with scope and timeline in writing. Our app cost guide explains the drivers, and the food delivery guide covers the rest.
How long does it take to launch?
A full first version with the customer app, kitchen screen, rider app and ops dashboard usually takes 10 to 12 weeks. If you need to see it before you raise or commit, a two-week concept sprint gets you a clickable prototype of the ordering flow.
Will it work on cheap Android phones and slow data?
Yes, we design for that from the start. Screens are light, images are compressed, and the rider app keeps working through patchy coverage and syncs when the signal returns. We test on low-end Android handsets, not just new flagships. Order history and menus are cached too.
Can a single restaurant have its own delivery app instead of a marketplace?
Yes. A single-brand app is simpler: one menu, one kitchen screen and no commission settings. Many restaurants start there to move repeat customers off aggregators, then add outlets later. Our restaurant website work covers the dine-in side too. Your customer list stays with you.
Who owns the app and the code?
You do. Source code, design files and the brand system are handed over in full, in repositories your team or another developer can keep working in. There is no licence fee to keep using what we built. We also document how the order flow works, so a new developer can pick it up quickly.
